Julie is of course hell bent on adoption and Brian could not feel any differently.
Will he talk her around to his way of thinking or will he leave her for his new job in Wales?

He'll leave, I've known for months! Laughing Shame as Brian and Julie are the only happy couple on the street now Hayley is dying. Blackburn doesn't like 'nice' characters does he?

I hope they manage to work it out, though I think even Julie isn't that forgiving. I don't know why he didn't just tell her - I always find it weird when soaps make a situation where characters don't talk to each other about things that they obviously would talk about in real life. I know it's to make drama but there are other ways.

The big problem is that one drama rolls into the next.
Far too much happens to too few people

What do you expect the residents to be doing...siting around watching Countdown whilst eating a bacon sandwich?

I dread to think what state the show would be in if you we're at the helm.

Well they do more than enough eating (and drinking) in the Pub, Bistro and Cafe!

Just one Bacon sandwich between the whole cast was that?.... Very Happy

As usual agree there Woody. I love your last comment. If Cinemagoer was at the helm the most dramatic thing would be Deirdre losing one of her earrings. Very Happy

No doubt Peter will be back. He has been bobbing in and out since April 1965 when he was born on the show.
