So Rylan won, but who helped him??

From what I saw when I tuned in to the occasional of BBBOTS, Rylan's win has been predicated on the fact that he was the 'hero' in the house. He confronted the beast that was Speidi, stuck up for the women, defended everyone else against the nasty duo. But, and it is a big but what if they had behaved differently? what if, there was nothing to defend against? What if, there had been no need for confrontation? What if instead of playing the bad guys, they had acted normally, friendly, helpful, joined in and completed tasks etc? Then truth is Rylan would have had nothing to 'butt up' against. So much as it pains me to say (because do not particularly like any of them) without the entity that is Speidi, Rylan would not have won
