It doesn't look any different to me!
Yeh, what happened was, the whole family went on a spa, to give Lisa a break for a night. Whilst away, nasty owd Shadrach decided for once to have a bath. He got out of the bath, water still running, went downstairs then fell asleep drunk. The whole ceiling came down, and that's why the bath's in the living room. _________________ At One With All Creatures of the Earth - Respect, Reflection, Resilience, Responsibility

They could make a feature of the bath in the room. It could be an extra bed for somebody when yet another long-lost Dingle comes calling! _________________ At One With All Creatures of the Earth - Respect, Reflection, Resilience, Responsibility

I am sure they only rent this property, wasn't there a big story line some years ago about them being evicted and a big protest with all the family from far and wide joining in? I would imagine that if the Wyldes do own this property Nasty Nathan would take the opportunity to try to evict them all, tart it up and charge a higher rent.
Months ago my son predicted that all the big soaps were going to suddenly start having 'building' disasters, and people redecorating for various reasons because of the advent of HD which shows up every little flaw. |

I honestly can't remember if the Dingles own the property or rent it. Nobody ever seems to ask them for rent money and they haven't got two ha'pennies to rub together. Interesting thought though. _________________ At One With All Creatures of the Earth - Respect, Reflection, Resilience, Responsibility

It's a pity they don't rent, cos they will never be able to afford to get it fixed.
Wonder how they are going to get round that one...
Mind, I'm glad something will eventually be done about the place - it was no better than a hovel anyway. Many a time I have said to hubby: I know they have no money, but a tin of emulsion doesnt cost much and it woudl do wonders for the place!!!
I couldn't have lived somewhere like that, I would have ben embarrassed beyond belief. And as for having visitors round...not on yer life!!! _________________

Squeezy, I've more or less said the same thing. It doesn't look any different since the bath came through the ceiling!
It will be interesting to see how they get round it, and Lisa's already refused any charity for furniture, as Zak "wouldn't like it!"
It's an absolute hovel. I worry about my house not being as I would like it because I can't manage to decorate it on my own now, but it is better than Chez Dingle! _________________ At One With All Creatures of the Earth - Respect, Reflection, Resilience, Responsibility
