| Should Ruby have told Indie about her and Romeo like that in the diner? Well Romeo had this coming to him really, I have no sympathy for him, just for Indie and Ruby. |

No no a thousand times no, she just wanted to cause trouble. Romeo was sure Indie was going to dump him, (have to admit that it did seem that way, she had no time for him and seemed to be moving on with her life and leaving him behind) he was feeling despondent. Ruby has been fancying him for weeks (why not, he is with someone else, always a signal for her to get a heavy crush) and she not only made the first move on him, she threw herself at him and got what she wanted. Unfortunately it was not for keeps.
How ever much you fancy someone, you do not dive in the second they 'seem' to be available, apart from all other considerations you will merely be the 'rebound/consolation bonk and not the true love for ever you hope for. It was her own fault and she got what she deserved. Now she just wants to hurt him and while doing so is hurting her friend. She should just have gone away, licked her wounds, learned the lesson and got on with it.
Mind you with her mother as an example can you blame the way she behaves?? |

For someone like Ruby, ie a bit shaky, when she saw a chance with Romeo she was always going to take it and he did tell her he was or had broken up with Indie - but officially he was still with Indie, they had not broken up, so that was a real scumbag thing Romeo did to both Ruby and Indie.
I actually think Romeo's behaviour was appalling over this. And he thought he could get away with it and keep it secret from Indie - not good. He doesn't deserve either girl. Although Ruby made the first move he could have rejected her but he wanted to have his cake and eat it!
I can understand Ruby's frustration but she should not have made such a scene in the way she told Indie and been mean to Indie, as if Indie had done something wrong, instead of her. Romeo needed to be exposed for who he really is! |
